New Zealand Spy (Original Soundtrack)
Air-Edel Records are proud to present the original soundtrack to comedy series ‘New Zealand Spy’, created by Paul Williams. Featuring live strings and brass mixed with electric guitar, bass and drums this unique score was composed by Stephen Gallagher and Paul Williams. New Zealand Spy (Original Soundtrack) is available across all major streaming platforms including Spotify, Apple Music and Deezer.
The plot: The New Zealand Intelligence Agency seeks recruits. Three unlikely candidates respond to a newspaper ad and are thrust into espionage, fumbling through betrayal, romance and escalating absurdity.
It was an absolute thrill to collaborate with Paul Williams on the score for his dry witted comedy spy thriller series.
Performed by an international cast of musicians, from New Zealand and Budapest, the music largely keeps a straight face, with just a few knowing winks, as the espionage capers unfold on screen. – Stephen Gallagher
